Live for yourself, Live consciously

We’ve been living since the moment that we were born, when we took our first breath. Everyone knows how living looks like: Eat, Work, Sleep and Repeat. (There might be extra playtime sometimes). But does everyone know how to live consciously? Not exactly, some might not have even heard about the term. 

So, what does it mean to be living consciously? 

Living consciously is about being aware of your actions, decisions, and emotions, about taking control of your life and living with a purpose. It could be as small as knowing what you’re eating daily, to as big as making the big decision with mindfulness.

Am I currently living consciously?

Let’s take some time to ask yourself the following questions. If your answers are mostly ‘Yes’, it’s time to bring yourself back to the present and add that extra dose of consciousness to your life. 

•Are you doing something merely because someone asked you to do so, or you truly wanted to?

•Are you making decisions without considered thought?

•Do you feel like you’re drifting through life? Not sure where you wanna go and what’s your plan?

•Do you still recognize who you are as a person?

•Do you find yourself wasting your time doing things that aren’t important instead of the very important ones?

If you have more ‘No’ answers than the ‘Yes’, you’re probably on the right track, keep it up! As for those who want to start living consciously, do stay tuned for our next blog where we’ll be talking about the ways to live consciously. 

There’s a thing to be mindful of before you start the journey of conscious living: Eliminate the thought of living on autopilot & in a way that others want you to be. Make conscious decisions and take charge, it’s your life and no one could tell you how you should live. When you realize you have the freedom to decide how you think and what you do, you’ll make a real impact on your life.
